College releases short informational videos produced with support from the Province of BC

The College is pleased to announce the release of four short videos produced with support from the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism, and Skills Training. These videos explain the regulatory role of the College and highlight the competency and professionalism of College members, as well as the diversity of applied biology occupations and employers in BC. We encourage College members to help us distribute the videos; consider showing them during informal lunch gatherings at work or sharing a video with an aspiring biologist. The College will use the videos to supplement outreach programs for post-secondary students, employers of biology practitioners, and foreign-trained professionals interested in working in BC, as well as to inform the general public about the College and its members.

We thank College members Warren Warttig, Purnima Govindarajulu, Dr. Glenn Harris, Dr. Vanessa Craig,  Brian Clark, and Jacob Blanshard for helping with this initiative.

We appreciate any feedback you have to help guide future College initiatives and projects.
